Job Description

Job Description Core hours: they cover east coast and Westcoast Just accomplish 40 hours in office. Can be flexible with daycare/pickup The team has already created a list of tasks to complete:
  •  Answering emails
  •  They have a group email box that catches everything. To cover PTO, and making sure the emails get answered
  •  Ability to quickly understand emails that get in
  • People asking questions for billing, etc and being able to answer questions for the individual.
  •  600-700 emails/day and they should be able to knock out 80% each day
  •  Filing paperwork for transportation to warehouses.
  •  Making appointments with building for both pick up and dropoff
  •  Making appointments with the buildings
  •  39/40 hours are emails but once they get a feel for it they will start helping schedule trucks for appointments.

  •  2-3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations preferred
  •  Experience with Microsoft outlook, excel, PDF filing
  •  Rudimentary understanding of the transportation/logistics space.
  •  Some level of base transportation level/logistics/supply chain universe
  •  Schedule trucks to get to warehouse. Certain rules/carriers that need certain things
  •  Anyone from logistics/trucking company and has knowledge of supply chain and logistics as a whole.
