Job Description:
Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a mission-driven organization to identify an Executive Assistant to the CEO. This high-impact role will provide strategic administrative and operational support to the Chief Executive Officer, ensuring alignment of priorities, seamless execution of daily activities, and effective communication across the Executive Office. Working closely with the Chief of Staff, the Executive Assistant will play a critical role in optimizing executive effectiveness in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and prioritize the CEO's complex calendar, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate and prepare materials for executive meetings, board meetings, and key engagements, including agendas, briefings, and follow-up actions.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing communications with discretion and professionalism.
  • Oversee logistics for travel, events, and executive-level meetings, ensuring seamless execution and attention to detail.
  • Partner closely with the Chief of Staff to support executive workflows, communications, and organizational alignment.
  • Maintain operational efficiency within the Executive Office, including expense management, documentation, and process improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
  • 7+ years of experience supporting C-suite or senior executives in a complex organizational environment.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume scheduling, communications, and logistics with precision and discretion.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (e.
g., Teams, Zoom, Slack, CRM platforms).
