Temp-to-Hire Opportunity Schedule:
Full-Time/Days; 8:00 AM•4:30 PM, Monday•
Friday Pay Rate:
$24.50/hr.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Executive Assistant to support a well-established non-profit organization in Presque Isle. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrative professional who enjoys meaningful, mission-driven work and thrives in a fast-paced office environment. The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Executive Director while helping ensure the day-to-day functions of the organization run smoothly. Responsibilities will include managing schedules and communications, preparing reports and correspondence, coordinating meetings and events, maintaining records, and serving as a point of contact for staff, community partners, and the public. Ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion.
Responsibilities:
Manage calendars, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for the Executive Director. Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, meeting agendas, and other organizational documents. Screen calls, emails, and visitors; respond to inquiries or redirect communications as appropriate. Help coordinate meetings, board communications, and organizational events. Record meeting notes and assist with preparing and distributing minutes and follow-up materials. Maintain organized filing systems, records, and confidential documentation. Assist with project coordination and tracking deadlines for organizational initiatives. Communicate professionally with staff, clients, vendors, community partners, and board members. Support office operations by ordering supplies, organizing materials, and assisting with administrative workflows. Assist with grant documentation, reporting, or fundraising activities as needed. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent education required; associate or bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of administrative or executive support experience required. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology required. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in professional situations. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Background check required.
