The Executive Administrative Assistant is that teammate here at Spectrum Juvenile Justice Services. About the Role The Executive Administrative Assistant is a pivotal member of the leadership team , overseeing day‑to‑day operations and ensuring seamless coordination across departments. You will support the Executive Director, departmental leaders, and staff in ways that directly influence the quality of services provided to the youth in our care. The Executive Administrative Assistant strengthens the pulse of the company: Coordinating admissions, onboarding, training, policies, and administrative oversight Ensuring continuous quality improvement Supporting service delivery for youth and proper documentation systems Supervising and developing the Administrative Secretary Partnering with supervisors, management, and clinical/support teams to maintain excellence Leading or assisting with investigations, corrective action plans, and compliance Helping drive strategic goals, program reporting, and board‑level updates Your leadership ensures that our programs operate with integrity, clarity, and compassion—every day, for every youth we serve. You are the person who helps make that happen. As Executive Administrative Assistant, you will: Strengthen internal systems for the benefit of youth, families, and staff Help maintain the highest standards in residential care Ensure teams are equipped, informed, and connected Provide leadership that upholds the mission and values of SJJS Play a central role in building a culture of excellence and accountability You will not simply support the mission— you will help drive it forward . Qualifications You will excel in this leadership role if you bring: A High School Diploma and five years in a child‑caring institution , or Two years of college and at least one year of child‑care experience (preferred) A valid driver's license and clear background clearances A physical exam, a negative TB test, and reliable transportation Our ideal candidates possess: Advanced technical and administrative management skills Foundational knowledge of employment practices, residential systems, and organizational procedures Strong supervisory abilities Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills Capacity to work independently, manage pressure, and generate high‑quality reports Analytical thinking and resource management abilities You are the person who keeps operations aligned, efficient, and mission‑strong. Your Impact on the Leadership Team You will work closely with the Executive Director and leaders across departments—clinical, education, HRD, security, and support services—to champion quality, innovation, and consistency.
