Client Overview Our client, a prestigious law firm headquartered in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a sharp, experienced, and highly discreet Practice Assistant to support two Partners and their team of Associates. This boutique law firm specializes in high-stakes commercial litigation, investigations, and appellate advocacy. Salary/Hourly Rate $40/hr - $45/hr Position Overview The Practice Assistant will provide dedicated support to two Partners and their Associates. This individual will handle a wide range of high-level administrative responsibilities with professionalism and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally organized, resourceful, and capable of anticipating needs before they arise. This role requires someone with superior communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage complex schedules and priorities. Responsibilities Of The Practice Assistant Arrange complex travel arrangements and accommodations as required and create detailed travel itineraries for assigned attorneys. Order catering for meetings as necessary. Process and track vendor and client invoices in the Firm's check request system and resolve any billing issues. Reconcile attorney accounts on a weekly basis. Submit expenses for reimbursement. Required Experience/Skills For The Practice Assistant Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting senior-level professionals within a legal environment. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills. Demonstrated discretion and ability to handle confidential information. Flexible, detail-oriented, and dependable with a proactive approach. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree is required.
