This position serves as a key liaison between the Division, government officials, and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and resolution of administrative matters. The role oversees executive office operations, including building management responsibilities related to safety, facility operations, and emergency preparedness, and prepares correspondence, reports, and documentation that reflect the executive's priorities and commitments.The Executive Assistant also responds to inquiries regarding programs, policies, regulations, and legislative matters, evaluates new or proposed regulations to assess operational impact, and conducts research and data analysis to support informed decision-making. Additional responsibilities include assisting with budget development and monitoring, supporting the legislative process as a liaison during session, and maintaining confidential records in compliance with federal and State laws.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead complex programs and multidisciplinary teams, establish long-term strategic goals, and implement data-driven improvements to enhance service delivery. This role requires strong collaboration with community partners, federal agencies, and internal stakeholders, as well as the ability to navigate evolving regulatory and operational environments with resilience and sound judgment.Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation, including fingerprint-based criminal history screening. Statewide travel is required.
