Job Description

Job Summary:
The Executive Assistant (EA) to the CEO provides high-level administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), serving as a trusted partner in managing the CEO's time, priorities, communications and confidential information. The EA acts as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders and supports a smooth functioning of the Executive Office.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Executive Assistant (EA) will provide high-level support to the CEO by managing the executive calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, events, and travel arrangements. The EA will be responsible for preparing agendas, materials, and follow-up actions for meetings and presentations. Additionally, the EA will draft and format correspondence, reports, and presentations, and assist in the preparation and distribution of Board materials, minutes, and meeting logistics. Serving as a positive ambassador of the Executive Office, the EA will interact professionally with staff, board members, donors, and external partners. The role requires a high degree of confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of work. Education & Experience Associates degree required, bachelor's degree preferred. 3 - 5 years of experience supporting C-suite or senior executives, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
Physical Requirements:
Must be available to support early morning, evening or weekend meetings as needed. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
