Job Overview:

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by college-level coursework. At least two years of experience as an administrative assistant, executive assistant, or in office management. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Proficiency in calendar management, meeting coordination, and note-taking. Comfortable working with the public and explaining complex processes. Physical ability to perform on-site duties at City Hall.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide advanced administrative support to the Finance Director and senior managers. Attend management staff meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items. Coordinate calendars, meetings, and prepare agendas for various stakeholders. Support the coordination of budget meetings with cross-departmental staff, the budget committee, and City Council. Assist with the annual budget development process, including formatting, publishing documents, and public hearing notices. Oversee the completion and distribution of the city's budget document. Explain budget processes to staff, council members, and the public as needed. Maintain frequent contact with the public and city officials to ensure smooth operations. Why Work for
