Job Description

C.H. Robinson is currently seeking a highly polished and proactive Executive Assistant to support the President of Robinson Fresh and senior leadership team. This role is important to enabling executive effectiveness through high-level administrative support, project coordination, and strategic partnership. Critical to your success is your ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment, demonstrating exceptional judgment and discretion, and bringing a strong sense of ownership to everything you do. As a key liaison to internal and external stakeholders, you will serve as an extension of leadership and play a pivotal role in ensuring priorities are executed flawlessly. This position requires the candidate to be onsite at our Eden Prairie offices Monday through Thursday, with the opportunity to work from home on Friday.
Responsibilities:
Executive Support & Calendar Management:
Provide comprehensive administrative support, including managing complex calendars, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and optimizing executive time. Proactively anticipate needs, resolve scheduling conflicts, and ensure seamless daily operations.
Communication & Stakeholder Partnership:
Serve as a trusted liaison between senior leaders and internal/external stakeholders. Manage and triage executive communications, including monitoring email, prioritizing key actions, drafting responses, and ensuring timely follow-up. Represent leadership with professionalism and sound judgment.
Travel, Meetings & Event Coordination:
Plan and execute detailed travel arrangements and itineraries. Coordinate meetings, leadership sessions, and events—including logistics, materials, and catering—ensuring a high-quality, organized experience.
Presentations & Document Management:
Develop and refine presentations and materials for board, leadership, customer, and departmental meetings. Maintain organized, accessible document and record-keeping systems, continuously improving processes for efficiency and usability.
Project & Operational Coordination:
Support cross-functional projects and leadership initiatives by tracking timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring deliverables are met with high quality. Maintain visibility to key priorities, deadlines, and follow-ups using collaboration tools.
Financial & Administrative Processes:
Manage executive expenses and reporting, including preparation, review, and submission of expense reports. Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Confidentiality & Team Collaboration:
Handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and integrity. Actively contribute to the administrative team, providing back-up support and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Minimum 4 years' progressive executive administration experience as an executive assistant supporting
Vice Presidents Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to prioritize and manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong sense of urgency and ability to adapt to changing needs Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence, collaborate, and build relationships across all levels of the organization Professional, service-oriented approach with a commitment to going above and beyond Demonstrated ability to drive results and support change in a complex, matrixed organization Values a diverse and inclusive work environment We will review applications for this role on an ongoing basis and encourage all interested candidates to apply at their earliest convenience. Compensation Range $30.69 - $48.53 The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location.
