Connecticut (mandatory) ______________________________________________________________________ Position Overview A Connecticut-based education consulting firm is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Program, Engagement & Executive Assistant to provide executive administrative support, coordinate programs and events, and support stakeholder engagement initiatives. This role works closely with senior leadership and requires strong judgment, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, resourceful, and comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with program and engagement support. Key Responsibilities Executive & Administrative Support Provide direct administrative support to executive leadership, including calendar management, scheduling, meeting coordination, and day-to-day organizational support. Prepare agendas, briefing materials, presentations, meeting notes, and track follow-up items. Manage email correspondence, draft professional communications, and prioritize requests on behalf of leadership. Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. Assist with travel coordination, expense tracking, reimbursements, and administrative documentation. Event Support (In-Person & Virtual) Support the planning and execution of in-person and virtual events. Prepare and distribute invitations, manage RSVP lists, and coordinate attendee communications. Assist with logistics, materials preparation, registration, and on-site event coordination. Conduct post-event follow-up, summaries, and documentation. Client & Stakeholder Engagement Coordinate and participate in meetings with clients, partners, vendors, and community stakeholders. Prepare agendas, meeting notes, and follow-up communications. Serve as a professional point of contact and maintain positive working relationships across partners and organizations. Ensure clear, timely, and consistent communication related to programs and initiatives. Research & Program Development Conduct research to support program development, strategic initiatives, and organizational planning. Assist in preparing program materials, reports, briefs, and presentations. Track timelines, deliverables, and milestones across multiple projects and initiatives. Grant Writing & Proposals Assist with drafting grant applications, proposals, and supporting materials. Gather required data, narratives, budgets, and submission documents. Track grant deadlines, reporting requirements, and compliance materials. Support procurement and contracting processes through document organization and recordkeeping. Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities. Experience providing executive administrative, project coordination, or program support preferred. Comfortable interacting with senior leaders, clients, partners, and community stakeholders. Experience or interest in grant writing, proposals, nonprofit operations, or program support preferred. Ability to work independently, exercise discretion, and handle sensitive information confidentially.
Compensation Hourly rate:
approximately $28
- 38 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
This is a part-time position (30 hours/week) with potential for growth based on organizational needs and performance. The position is primarily in-person with some flexibility for remote work.
