Job Description

Recruitment Assistant (Executive Search Firm) Work ScheduleThis role can be structured as part-time or full-time, requiring a minimum of 25 hours per week. The schedule is flexible and will be discussed further.

It is particularly well-suited for individuals balancing family responsibilities or other commitments such as nonprofit involvement, sports coaching, or similar activities.

Work LocationThe position is designed to be hybrid, ideally split 50/50 between office (Montclair, NJ) and remote work.

About the RoleThis opportunity is internal to ACCUR Recruiting Services, not for a client. We are seeking talented individuals to support our team of executive recruiters.

Founded in 2006, ACCUR is a boutique executive search firm specializing in consumer and luxury goods industries. We conduct searches nationwide and occasionally internationally, focusing on Director, Vice President, and C-Level placements.

ObjectiveThe Recruitment Assistant will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and shortlisting candidates for review by our consultants/executive recruiters. The role also involves coordinating interviews either with our Recruitment Consultants and with our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Build lists of target companies (organizations w suitable candidates may be found).
  • Historically this was done via LinkedIn and Google; today, a lort of the work is powered by ChatGPT Enterprise and other AI tools.
  • Identify and reach out to potential candidates, primarily via email or LinkedIn messages.
  • Using Linkedin Recruiter and AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini…).
  • Pre-screen candidates (via email or phone) and shortlist them for consultants, who then handle interviews and client presentations.
  • Review and process incoming applications for inclusion in candidate pipelines.
  • Coordinate both internal (candidate-consultant) and external (candidate-client) interviews.
  • Conduct reference checks with past employers by phone.

  • A trustworthy, detail-oriented, and eager-to-learn professional.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Interest in brands, from mass market to luxury.
  • Passion for research and talent discovery—someone who enjoys "the hunt."
  • Tech-savvy, ideally with experience in Boolean searches and a good user of ChatGPT or other LLMs.
