Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant assists the Executive Director by handling general clerical duties. This is including but not limited to managing the Executive Director's calendars, schedules meetings, and coordinates logistics, serving as PDRTA's receptionist by greeting visitors, answering/directing incoming phone calls, and managing incoming/outgoing mail distribution. Will also take minutes during various meetings, represent PDRTA in various events and meetings, and ensures effective operation and business functionality of the Florence Office. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor's Degree preferred 3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant preferred Advanced in Microsoft Office Excellent writing, typing, editing, and proofreading skills Outstanding organizational and time management skills Discretion and confidentiality

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Must pass a criminal background check. Must receive a negative result from a nonDOT preemployment drug screen. Occasional travel to other PDRTA offices, local/overnight outoftown travel is required. Must be flexible with regard to covering varied work hours/shifts. Starting Salary will be commensurate with years of experience and/or advanced educational degree.
