Summary:
In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to the Spend Management Sales, Senior Vice President/General Manager, and two Senior Principals. You will operate as an extension of your executives, translating priorities into action and ensuring seamless execution across initiatives. You will manage complex, confidential, and highly visible responsibilities that require advanced strategic thinking, sound judgment, and ownership. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in ambiguity, anticipates risks, solves problems proactively, and builds trusted relationships across senior leaders and stakeholders.Responsibilities:
Executive Time & Meeting Strategy:
Strategically manage complex and dynamic calendars while aligning executive time to enterprise priorities. Design and coordinate in-person, hybrid, and virtual meetings with clear objectives. Assess trade-offs, protect high-impact priorities, ensure readiness, capture key decisions, and drive follow-through.Executive Preparation & Communications:
Conduct background research and develop briefing materials to prepare executives for high-visibility discussions. Draft, edit, and manage executive-level correspondence, presentations, and reports with clarity and precision. Represent the executive professionally in internal and external interactions.Travel & Expense Management:
Manage domestic travel logistics. Ensure timely and accurate expense reporting in compliance with policy.Operational & Initiative Management:
Design and maintain systems to track initiatives, commitments, and key deliverables. Lead special projects and confidential initiatives, coordinate cross-functional efforts, resolve workflow challenges, and implement sustainable process improvements aligned with business priorities.Stakeholder & Relationship Management:
Serve as a trusted liaison across the enterprise and with external partners. Navigate sensitive or complex situations with discretion while building strong, productive relationships that support strategic objectives.Team & Culture Contribution:
Support engagement initiatives, onboarding efforts, and peer collaboration. Provide backup support and contribute to a high-performing administrative community focused on excellence and continuous improvement.Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred. 5 or more years of experience supporting senior executives in a complex environment required. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams required. Demonstrated ability to operate independently with strong strategic thinking and judgment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project management skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. Experience supporting multiple senior leaders and managing cross-functional coordination. Ability to maintain discretion and professionalism in highly confidential matters. Willingness to travel as needed. This is an office-based role with an expectation of three days per week on-site in Irving, TX with occasional extended hours as needed.Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $135,400.00. This position is also incentive eligible.
