Executive Assistant (Part-Time, 0.5 FTE)
Location:
Renton, WA Hours:
Approx. 20 hours per week, including some weekends
Compensation:
$25-$35/hour-

Position Overview:
Helping Link is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to provide administrative, office, organizational, and program support to the Executive Director. This role requires discretion, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The Executive Assistant will play a key role in developing systems that enhance efficiency and support organizational growth.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate quarterly ESL, Citizenship, and Computer/iPad classes, including scheduling, registration, instructor support, and online education portals. Support Information and Referral Services and community outreach efforts. Coordinate with volunteer recruitment and retention activities. Handle financial tasks, including tracking reimbursements. Provide administrative support to the Board of Directors. Support fundraising and grant initiatives. Assist with communications and marketing efforts as needed. Occasionally work weekends as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in administration, office management, or program/project coordination. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel). Ability to work with discretion, flexibility, and a positive attitude. Commitment to Helping Link's mission and values.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the nonprofit sector and volunteer management. Familiarity with Adults Basic Education programs. Bachelor's degree is desirable.
