ABOUT THE ROLE
True Blue Strategies is an award-winning public affairs and communications firm working at the intersection of advocacy, politics, media, and reputation. We're looking for an Executive Assistant & Personal Assistant to support our Founder & CEO, Brooke Blue. This is a high-trust, high-responsibility position that blends executive support, operational coordination, travel management, and personal operations into one deeply integrated role. Executive Support & Calendar Management Own and manage Brooke's professional and personal calendar with precision and sound judgment Coordinate meetings, appointments, travel, and logistics across time zones and competing priorities Protect focus time; proactively resolve scheduling conflicts, prep needs, and transitions between commitments Prepare daily and weekly briefings so priorities, meetings, and logistics are organized and anticipated Drive accountability and follow-through on action items and ongoing priorities Represent Brooke in meetings when needed for visibility and report back with the details that matter Coordinate regularly with agency team members on scheduling and calendaring — this role provides meaningful support to the full True Blue staff (approximately 15% of the role) Travel & Logistics Plan and manage complex travel end-to-end: flights, hotels, ground transportation, dining, itineraries, and contingencies Build travel plans that are exceptionally organized and anticipate needs before they become problems Handle last-minute changes with composure and efficiency Maintain travel profiles, loyalty programs, upgrades, and preferences Coordinate occasional travel logistics for other agency staff members, including flights, hotels, and itineraries as needed Communications & Coordination Manage inboxes, messages, and the overall flow of communications Draft polished correspondence, follow-ups, scheduling notes, thank-yous, and outreach on Brooke's behalf Serve as a professional, responsive point of contact with clients, partners, vendors, and personal contacts Track outstanding items and ensure nothing falls through the cracks Personal Operations & Household Management Coordinate contractors, vendors, deliveries, and service providers across an active home renovation and household. In this role, you will essentially be the project manager Manage appointments, scheduling, sourcing, returns, errands, gifting, and personal logistics Research products, services, and vendors; provide clear recommendations with rationale Support occasional entertaining, events, and hospitality coordination Special Projects & Operational Support Take ownership of one-off projects with minimal oversight and strong follow-through Conduct research, synthesize findings, and present organized recommendations Provide light operational and administrative support to True Blue Strategies as needed Identify and build systems, processes, and improvements that make life and work run more smoothly over time WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required 5+ years supporting a founder, executive, entrepreneur, or high-profile principal as an EA, PA, or Chief of Staff Exceptional organizational ability and follow-through - things don't slip with you Strong judgment and discretion with sensitive and confidential information Highly proactive: you anticipate needs rather than wait for instructions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Calm, steady, and solutions-oriented under pressure Comfortable in fast-moving, high-expectation environments where the pace doesn't slow down At ease with a role that blends professional and personal support without hard boundaries between the two Preferred Experience in public affairs, politics, media, creative agencies, or other high-performance professional environments Strong attention to detail in communications, logistics, and presentation COMPENSATION & STRUCTURE
Full-time, in-person position located in Seattle, WA Compensation:
