Job Description
- This position is dependent upon approved FY27 budget approval.
Hours of Work:
Monday- Friday 8:00 AM
- 5:00 PM.
Salary and Benefits:
This is a full-time, benefited Staff position.Starting salary range:

JOB SUMMARY
The Executive Assistant Il (Student Services) position is a full-time benefited, position within Laramie County Community College's (LCCC) Student Services. This position successfully supports the division Senior Vice President (SVP) by managing daily administrative tasks and office coverage. This role is vital in ensuring the administrative functions of the division run smoothly, enhancing overall productivity and supporting the SVP's strategic goals.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- this position is exempt and is not eligible for compensatory or overtime pay provisions of the FLSA.
- Deliver high-quality administrative support to the SVP and division while ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
- Ensure effective and efficient processing of workflows to enhance division operations by improving the efficiency and integrity of division operations through effective data management and streamlined processes Establish and revise work methods and standards to streamline business processes, improving overall operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the division's efficiency and effectiveness through collaborative support and continuous process improvement by contributing to a positive and efficient division environment.
- Ensure the effective administration of compliance training for students by fostering a safe and informed campus environment.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for Title IX initiatives, ensuring effective operations and adherence to confidentiality by fostering an organized environment for handling sensitive cases and training initiatives.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge Administrative- Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and workplace terminology. Computers

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS
There may be occurrences of interacting with employees and/or students, past employees and/or students, members of the general public, and others who express opinions, may exhibit strong emotions, which will require the employee to interact professionally, diplomatically, and appropriately in such situations While performing the essential duties of this position, an employee would frequently be required to move around the assigned work areas as well as within hallways, meeting rooms, and other parts of the campus facilities There may be multiple/daily instances of prolonged sitting, standing, and personal computer use, which would include keyboard and/or mouse usage as well as viewing a computer monitor An employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus The overall work environment requires the mental ability to shift focal point quickly due to interruptions; an employee must be able to mentally track multiple projects and tasking as wellNOTE:

Associate degree from an accredited college or university in business, communications, or related field of study or in lieu of the educational requirement, three years of experience in a professional environment as an administrative assistant may be substituted for an earned degree. Two years of experience providing customer service or administrative assistance in a detail oriented, computerized, and/or data-oriented environment; including detailed use of common office software programs. Two years of experience with advanced skill level using Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook, etc. 1 year of experience providing senior level support in an office environment.Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, communications, or related field of study. Two years of work experience in an academic institution as an administrative assistant to include scheduling, planning, and purchasing.
