$25 to $30 per hour
Position Type:
Full-time, Onsite, Contract/Contract to Hire LHH is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual for a File Clerk assignment with a law firm in West Los Angeles. Position is contract to hire, but we will considered direct hire applicants, full-time and 100% onsite. In this role you will be supporting the legal team with efficient filing and document management. You will organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems.
Responsibilities:
Assist the legal team by efficiently managing filing and documents. Organize and oversee both physical and electronic filing systems for legal documents, correspondence, and records. Maintain the accuracy and completeness of file contents, labels, and indexes. Retrieve and deliver files as requested by attorneys and staff. Contribute to the creation and upkeep of case binders and trial exhibits. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to file management protocols. Collaborate with administrative staff to facilitate document transfers and file updates.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a legal or file management role is advantageous. Proficient in using document management software. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Capability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a deadline-oriented setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
