Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented File Clerk for a long-term temporary opportunity within a government municipality office in Culver City, CA. This entry-level administrative role supports the Human Resources Department with high-volume filing, records organization, and personnel file maintenance. - Prepare new personnel files and organize records according to established filing procedures.
- Pull, purge, relocate, and categorize files in accordance with California personnel file record retention guidelines.
- Add relevant documents to employee files in a specific and consistent order.
- Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and organization of Human Resources records.
- Support the HR team with clerical and records management tasks as assigned.
- Ensure files are easy to locate, properly labeled, and maintained in compliance with department standards. Compensation and Benefits
