Job Description

Nationwide Legal is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Scanning and Records Processing Clerk to join our Subpoena Services Department in Downtown Los Angeles. This position plays a critical role in processing subpoenaed records and requires a strong command of computer systems, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Process and organize subpoenaed records, primarily in digital format Perform document redactions, formatting, and file conversions as needed Prepare final production files for delivery to clients, opposing counsel, and courts Maintain accurate tracking and status updates in internal systems Scan, label, and manage both physical and electronic documents Handle all documents in accordance with confidentiality and HIPAA standards Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate production Qualifications Prior experience in legal support, records production, or subpoena services is a plus, but not required Strong proficiency with computers and file management software Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
