• Record Management.

The Data Imager/Scanner is responsible for accurately providing scanning support to multiple departments within Boston Mutual while maintaining the highest levels of service professionalism in all they do. The Data Imager/Scanner is expected to: Prep files for scanning. Scan files and all associated documentation (claim forms, medical records, correspondence, worksheets, policy language and other materials included within the claim file) Index each file once documents have been scanned to ensure records can be accessed for future reference. Track and log daily production and perform quality control checks on scanned and indexed files to ensure image has a high degree of clarity and readability and record is indexed correctly. Participation in department meetings Must comply with privacy guidelines; will protect the privacy of customer information Participation in organizational wide special projects as assigned. Other duties and special projects as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

High School Diploma required

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of office or customer service experience required.

Knowledge Requirements:

Excellent written/verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize a high volume of multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to context, substance and detail while meeting goals and strict deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively build and extend relationships. Strong computer skills using MS Office. Insurance knowledge is a plus.
