Job Description

ZAI has an immediate need for a Records Management Specialist II (General Clerk II) for our White Oak facility. The qualified candidate will be responsible for reviewing, sorting, processing, scanning, and filing documents accurately in accordance with established standard operating procedures. The qualified candidate will also be required to review scanned documents for accuracy and completeness. Functional Responsibilities Functional responsibilities include providing clerical and administrative support to project staff, as well as becoming familiar with the terminology for the supported unit and maintaining a full comprehension of the project's facets. In addition, responsibilities include: Performing computer support duties such as document analysis and processing following general guidelines Operating standard computer and office equipment and peripherals Preparing standard reports Indexing and filing physical and electronic documents Retrieving documents or information in response to users' requests Collecting information for inclusion in various databases Performing routine data entry The candidate will work under direct supervision. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 2 - 5 years of related experience Good organizational and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn and participate in a team environment Ability to lift and move standard boxes up to 30 lbs.
