Job Description
Required Education:
- High School Diploma.
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
- Experience with printing, packaging, shipping, intake, scanning, and filing processes.
- Ability to receive, sort, and unpack incoming mail and materials accurately and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with experience alphabetizing, organizing, and maintaining paper and electronic records.
- Experience operating scanning and printing machines in a fast-paced production environment.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry, information lookup, and e-mail communication.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, notes, and filing systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting to support large-scale mailing and document processing projects.
- Ability to lift and move reams of paper, boxes, packages, and stacks of documents, and perform continuous movement throughout the work environment.
Job Duties:
- Print, package, prepare, and mail approximately 500 schools' answer sheets in support of NYS assessments.
- Receive, unpack, sort, and organize incoming mail and assessment materials.
- Operate scanning and printing equipment to process assessment-related documents accurately and efficiently.
- Perform basic data entry, information lookup, and e-mail communication to support daily operations.
- Maintain organized filing systems and accurate records for tracking and documentation purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure assessment materials are processed, packaged, and shipped according to established deadlines.
- Monitor document quality and ensure accuracy during printing, scanning, packaging, and mailing activities.
- Support high-volume workflow operations in a steady-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Handle and transport paper supplies, packages, and document stacks as required throughout the workday.
