Medical Records File Clerk, Full Time

Island Cardiovascular Associates is a privately owned cardiology practice serving the community for over 40 years. We are offering a Full Time medical records file clerk position with reception duties. (Monday - Friday 9-5pm) Job responsibilities include, but not limited to, filing, scanning medical records into an EHR, answering phones, fulfilling patient, insurance and legal medical record requests, scheduling appointments, confirming appointments, checking patients in and out, collecting copays, taking accurate messages. Applicant must have at least 1 year of medical office experience, possess attention to detail in work habits and be a team player.

Attention to detail is necessary Ability to work at a fast pace Must be able to spell correctly in order to place charts and documents in alphabetical order Must be organized Basic computer skills required (hunt and peck at keyboard not acceptable) High school diploma required, no experience necessary. Immediate start available.
