Full Job Description Salary Range:

$18.00 - $25.00 commensurate with prior experience Job description The Large Format Digital Print Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, file processing, and order management. This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail. An operator will be responsible for managing order priorities, preparing materials for production, and troubleshooting equipment challenges as well as maintenance. We house EFI print equipment and a Colex Digital cutter. An ideal candidate would have experience running large format equipment or have familiarity with large format processes. This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities; however, the ideal candidate must demonstrate strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.

Software knowledge:

Adobe software, Fiery software is a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The print operator will be responsible for working with a second operator running one machine. Together, you will be responsible for producing and processing orders, preparing materials and packaging. Know and comply with all safety features and safety rules. Have a good understanding of what quality control expectations are. Must follow all shipping policies and procedures. Reviewing orders and processing jobs on Fiery rip software. Running large format equipment to the fullest of its capabilities. Performing routine maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity. Troubleshooting problems that occur during job submission or the printing process. Able to effectively operate a CNC cutter / router and keen cut tools. Monitors and manage material usage to allocated quantities. Computer literate. Qualifications 1 years' experience with large format equipment or familiarity with large format processes. Experience using RIP software and the Adobe suite. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to engage frequently with peers Basic math and unit conversion skills Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking skills.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

High School diploma required, associate degree preferred Experience with Large Format Printers is a plus Previous work experience in the field or in a related area Experience with Adobe Suite and other graphics programs. Computer Skills to include Microsoft Office, Adobe, and RIP Software Able to work a flexible schedule Willingness to follow processes, safety standards and policies
