Job Description
The Department of Health, Behavior, and Society (HBS) is seeking
- _Interviewer and Field Supervisors._
- HBS is dedicated to research, education, and practice on public health issues rooted in human behavior and social conditions from smoking and substance use to diabetes and HIV and more.
- Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- + Assist in developing operational plans to meet research goals.
- On call or non-standard work hour requirements
- + Data collection is both in the study office and on site in mobile project vans. + Hours are primarily evenings with variable hours depending on closing of bars and other venues for data collection, typically 5:00pm to 1:00am + In-office hours are 4:00pm to 8:00pm. + Data collection is Monday to Saturday.
- Minimum Qualifications
- + High school diploma or graduation equivalent. + One year of related experience. + Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
- Preferred Qualifications
- + Bachelor's Degree in a related field + Flexibility with work hours + Spanish language proficiency preferred + Knowledge of communities at increased risk for HIV + Ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of individuals + Strong attention to detail + Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in an unstructured environment, as well as collaboratively within a team
