Job Description

LOCATION
NORFOLK, NE
JOB TYPE
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
BILINGUAL PROGRAM CLERK JOB SUMMARY
  • Responsible for helping the client in filling out necessary forms for program assistance.
  • Responsible for screening of Immunization clients which includes entering data into the immunization database and updating it as necessary.
  • Assess household gross income and number in household. Explain the proper use of eWIC benefits and ID cards to participants and any other correspondence in a professional manner.
  • Aid in translating when necessary for non-English speaking/reading participants.
  • Refer clients as needed or requested. Make reminder appointment calls daily.
  • Assist with program organization, including setting up program binders and keeping them updated.
  • Quality control of daily office tasks and supply inventory.
  • Submit reports and summaries by deadlines or as requested.
  • Travel to assigned clinics as requested.
  • Lifting up to and including 50 pounds.
  • Routine cleaning of work site.
  • Maintain confidentiality of program participants and follow Program and Agency standards and policies.
BILINGUAL PROGRAM CLERK QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required. Basic skills in word processing, email, and data entry. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
BILINGUAL PROGRAM CLERK WAGE & BENEFITS
