This role is available in both part-time and full-time capacities, with the potential for full-time employment following a 60-day probationary period. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are strongly preferred.

The Intake Specialist plays a critical role as the first point of contact—screening incoming leads via phone and online inquiries, qualifying potential clients, and facilitating the onboarding process. Our office is conveniently located near campus, and we offer flexible scheduling ideal for students or individuals seeking experience in the legal field. We pride ourselves on maintaining a supportive, close-knit, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Screen and evaluate incoming leads via phone and internet within 3 minutes of submission Gather incident details and medical information to assess potential claims Send onboarding/retainer documents to qualified clients Accurately document all interactions in the contact management system Maintain and update case files using case management software (e.g., Needles, TrialWorks, or similar) Ensure proper tracking of client status (accepted, rejected, follow-up, scheduled, etc.) Manage up to 40 new leads per day in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of experience in legal intake, collections, sales, or customer service (phone-based) Bilingual in Spanish (written and verbal) Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel Typing speed of 40+ WPM Additional Qualifications Excellent customer service and professional phone etiquette Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Problem-solving mindset with a desire to learn and grow Ability to handle high call volumes with empathy and professionalism Schedule & Work Environment Office hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday Flexible scheduling, including weekday and weekend shifts
Compensation & Benefits Hourly Pay:
$17/hour (bi-weekly pay)
Bonus Structure:
$5-$15 per retained client Experienced specialists typically retain 8-20 clients per day Full-time team members can earn $1,000+ per week (including bonuses) Performance bonuses available (daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly) Employment Details Initial employment begins as a 1099 contractor Transition to W-2 employee status after successful completion of the 60-day evaluation period Full-time opportunities may be offered based on performance Requirements High School Diploma or GED (preferred) English (required); Spanish (preferred)
