Consumer Loan Interviewer

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Loan Interviewer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the loan application process, assessing their financial needs, and providing tailored loan solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, a customer-centric approach, and a solid understanding of financial products. Responsibilities Interview loan applicants to develop information and evaluate their loan needs and recommend loan products. Analyze applicant's current financial position and credit report to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit. Make recommendations to approve or disapprove the loan request and forward loan requests to higher levels for decision. Prepare loan documents according to policy terms and conditions; review all loan documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance; review with member. Collect outstanding loans in compliance with collection policies, procedures, and regulations; contact delinquent accounts by phone and mail; take appropriate action to bring current; assist with repossessions, small claims, garnishments, and bankruptcies. Provide professional, courteous, accurate, timely, friendly, and personal service. Skills Strong sales skills with financial products and services. Excellent customer service abilities to effectively address client needs and concerns. Solid math skills, including basic math and 10 key typing for accurate data entry. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Trust, diplomacy, and a positive attitude is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.
