The role involves assessing service quality, satisfaction, health and safety, and overall well-being of clients, while maintaining confidentiality and objectivity. Interviewers play a key role in ensuring individuals' rights are respected, and concerns are appropriately documented and reported. Key Responsibilities Conduct scheduled interviews with clients, family members, guardians, and caregivers. Utilize DODD-approved interview tools and standardized protocols to collect accurate information. Document client feedback regarding services, health, safety, and quality of life. Identify and report concerns related to abuse, neglect, exploitation, or rights violations according to agency procedures. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and DODD regulations. Prepare accurate records and reports based on interview findings. Coordinate interview schedules with clients, families, and service providers. Participate in training, quality assurance activities, and program monitoring. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or other vulnerable populations preferred. Strong communication, interviewing, and documentation skills. Ability to maintain professionalism, objectivity, and discretion. Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within assigned service areas. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Ohio DODD services, policies, and person-centered practices. Experience in case management, advocacy, or client assessments. Familiarity with electronic documentation systems and data collection tools. Training in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, or interviewing techniques. Skills & Competencies Excellent active listening and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and record-keeping accuracy. Ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
