Salary Range:
$38,000 - $42,000 annually The Lawyer Referral Service is seeking a professional, compassionate, and service-oriented bilingual interviewer to help connect members of the public with legal resources and qualified attorneys. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, communicating with a wide variety of individuals, and working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. The interviewer serves as an important first point of contact for individuals seeking legal assistance and must be able to communicate with empathy, professionalism, and sound judgment. Key Responsibilities Respond to incoming calls and inquiries from the public seeking legal assistance Conduct intake interviews to assess legal needs and identify appropriate referrals Provide professional, courteous, and accurate customer service in both English and Spanish Maintain accurate records and data entry related to referrals and client interactions Assist with administrative tasks and public outreach efforts related to the Lawyer Referral Service Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery
Qualifications:
Required Fluent in both Spanish and English (verbal communication required) Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage a high volume of calls while maintaining professionalism and accuracy Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency with computers, data entry, and typing Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality Preferred Experience working with the public, in a call center, or in a customer service environment Some college coursework completed; bachelor's degree preferred Exposure to or interest in the legal field
