Research Data Coder (Part-Time, Contract) Abacus Mind Math Tutors Atlanta, GA Job Details Part-time | Contract $25.95 - $31.26 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid training Flexible schedule Qualifications Some college Childhood development High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Ability to follow instructions Full Job Description Research Data Coder (Part-Time, Contract) Abacus Mind Math Tutors, Inc. | Atlanta, GA metro and Clemson, SC metro | $25/hour Abacus Mind Math Tutors, Inc. is a federally funded education research organization developing an early numeracy learning app for kindergarten through second grade students. We are hiring Research Data Coders to support an active research project in school settings across the Atlanta, Georgia and Clemson, South Carolina areas. In this role, you will score and code student assessment responses following a structured scoring protocol. All training is provided. No prior experience with the assessment is required. Responsibilities Score student assessment responses using a provided rubric and scoring guide Record and enter data accurately into designated tracking tools Follow all data collection and confidentiality protocols Attend a paid training session before beginning fieldwork Communicate any scoring questions or discrepancies to the research lead Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred Comfort working in school or classroom settings Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions Reliable and punctual Experience in education, child development, research, or data entry is a plus but not required
