Job Description
Competitive Edge Research & Communication , a 39-year leading political polling, public opinion and market research firm, is accepting applications for Bilingual Part-time Telephone Evening Interviewers to conduct voter surveys on site using our computer-based surveying system. NO sales, NO quotas, flexible scheduling. We have plenty of work available for great READERS with great VOICES. No experience required and entry-level applicants are welcome! We need interviews fluent in BOTH English and Spanish to conduct surveys with voters using our computerize phone system. Starting rate is $13 per hour with $1 extra per hour for bilingual work.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct scripted telephone surveys on site with voters at our state-of-the-art, fully computerized, air-conditioned and acoustically treated West El Paso call center
- Enter responses into our computer system using pre-coded choices with the keyboard number pad
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and phone etiquette during interviews
- Follow research protocols and guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy in data collection
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in conducting telephone interviews or telemarketing is preferred but not required. Will train. Start working immediately after passing training session
- Must speak and read BOTH English and Spanish fluently
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good typing skills for accurate and efficient data entry
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and guidelines closely
