Job Description

At MHMR Concho Valley, our mission is "Working together to help people help themselves." DSP (Crisis Diversion Services) : The MH Respite Care Provider will provide supervision and care to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. Respite will apply crisis intervention principles as appropriate throughout their shifts and responsible for preparing necessary documentation. DSP is required to attend meetings and training programs relevant to the position. DSP will provide PRN coverage for the Crisis Diversion Center.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, & EXPERIENCE
Graduation from a high school or G.E.D. required. Some college or degree in psychology/sociology preferred. Experience in the mental health field is preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
Valid Texas Driver's License required. Must not have more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years. Must be insurable and remain insurable on Center's insurance. Must be able to pass a background check. SHIFT 12am-8am- Overnights Monday-Friday Provides PRN (as needed) coverage for Crisis Diversion Center

If an employee is determined to be uninsurable, employment may be dismissed.
