Bilingual Outreach Ambassador ITA Promotions - 4.2 Alexandria, VA Job Details Temporary | Part-time $29 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Mandarin High school diploma or GED Full Job Description ITA Promotions is now hiring for fluent Bilingual Outreach Ambassadors to provide public outreach and customer service at various DC area Metro stations, Starting July 2026 . Looking for Bilingual speakers in Spanish ,Mandarin and French Ongoing ITA Work/Needs- We are looking for outgoing, energetic individuals to inform Metro riders about project updates, assist customers with their questions, and provide wayfinding support. Job duties- Performed outside (outdoors) of WMATA Metro stations, and include: Handing out (and explaining the contents of) informational brochures/maps/handouts. Announcing information and making sure all customers in the vicinity have heard about updates and changes (closure/project details, dates, location of shuttles, etc.) Approaching customers that appear to need assistance. Answering customers' questions about updates or about navigating the Metro system in general.

Qualifications- Ideally you will have:

Familiarity with the Metrorail and Metrobus system. Customer service experience. Open availability. Reliable transportation.

Job Type:

This is not a full-time position, but a flexible one that allows you to choose your schedule. Perfect for students , or someone looking for additional income . Morning, afternoon , and some weekend shifts available all over DC, Maryland, and Virginia. We have many projects lined up over the year (every year) that you can work if you are a good fit. Shifts are typically 6 hours long , with the possibility of double shifts as well. Outreach Ambassadors must be able to stand for that length of time. Once hired you will have access to our full schedule and can apply to shifts according to your own schedule/availability. All necessary documents can be found within the staff portal and must be signed/submitted before beginning first shift . Important Notes:

This is an independently contracted role in direct and constant contact with the public . Hours are variable . There are busy seasons and occasional slow periods. Team members are not guaranteed a minimum amount of hours but are also not required to work a minimum in order to remain in the ITA team roster. This allows maximum amount of flexibility for all.
