Duties & Responsibilities:
The Healthy Lifestyles Center at the Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU is seeking several interventionists as part of an NIH-funded behavioral weight loss intervention, "
Redesigning Pediatric Primary Care Adolescent Obesity Treatment:
Virtual Housecalls ". This position is under the supervision of Dr. Alyssa Button (Intervention Supervisor) and Sarah Farthing (Research Manager). Primary duties include participation in training, intervention delivery according to the operations manual, completion of documentation related to intervention delivery, data collection and entry, attendance at weekly supervision, and other intervention tasks as required by the supervisor according to the study protocol.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications This position is required to adhere to regulatory and ethics requirements set forth by the Institutional Review Board, and maintain current on CITI training. Candidates must hold a BS/BA and have their master's degree (or be working towards a master's degree) in a clinical / behavioral health field (psychology, social work, dietetics). Experience with behavioral counseling required. Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU. Preferred Qualifications Pediatric and weight management experience preferred.
Salary Range:
$30 per hour
