Job Description:
Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a well-established, mid-sized civil litigation law firm in the heart of Costa Mesa to find a skilled Litigation Secretary . This firm, with approximately 50 attorneys, offers a collaborative and professional environment in a prime, centrally located office. If you're an experienced litigation secretary who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys supporting busy attorneys, this is an excellent opportunity to join a respected and stable practice. Key Responsibilities Draft, revise, and finalize legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence Handle e-filing in California state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with all applicable court rules and deadlines Manage complex attorney calendars, including court appearances, depositions, and key litigation deadlines Coordinate filings, service of process, and communication with vendors Maintain organized electronic and physical case files Prepare exhibits, trial binders, and hearing materials Schedule depositions, mediations, and client meetings Assist with billing, time entry, and general administrative support Qualifications 10+ years of experience as a litigation secretary in a civil litigation environment Strong knowledge of California state and federal court procedures Experience with e-filing platforms (e.g., One Legal, PACER/ECF) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Excellent attention to detail, proofreading, and organizational skills Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and work with minimal supervision Strong communication and professionalism All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
