In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to a fast-paced, litigation attorney, ensuring smooth operations within the firm. Your attention to detail will help manage complex legal workflows, facilitate communication, and maintain efficient document management systems. Responsibilities Manage legal case files, document review, and maintain meticulous records using document management systems such as Outlook, Excel, Bill4Time. Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents, discovery, correspondence, and reports with precision and clarity for filing with all applicable courts. Conduct legal research to support case and court filing preparation. Coordinate appointments, meetings, and court filings while maintaining an organized calendar. Assist with project management tasks related to litigation cases or legal initiatives by tracking deadlines and preparing necessary documentation. Support client communications through professional phone etiquette and timely responses to inquiries. Perform data entry, filing, transcription, proofreading, and other clerical duties to ensure accuracy in all administrative processes. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while managing multiple priorities efficiently. Experience Proven experience as a legal secretary within a busy law office environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting. Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence with attention to detail. Experience conducting legal research and supporting litigation activities across multiple jurisdictions. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining professionalism at all times. Clerical experience involving data entry, filing systems (physical or electronic), proofreading, transcription services and document review is essential. . . support with detailed precision!
