Job Description

Highly respected and well established LA based personal injury firm is currently seeking a Discovery Legal Clerk. This firm is dedicated to awesome legal representation, enthusiastic teamwork environment and unrivaled client service. Summary:
Provide case management support to Attorneys by preparing discovery, assembling and organizing case materials, writing memoranda. Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Respond to discovery, such as Interrogatories and Request for Production of Documents;
  • Draft brief deposition summaries and medical treatment summaries
  • Read and summarize deposition transcripts;
  • Conduct legal and miscellaneous research;
  • Prepare legal and other correspondence;
  • Communicate with potential and existing clients;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Current second or third year law student (Preferred, but not required)
  • Exceptional research and writing skills
  • Impeccable command of English grammar and spelling
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Qualified persons will be well organized, motivated, self-directed and detail-oriented
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Professional etiquette

$18.00-$26.00 dollars per hour.
