Compensation:
$45,000 - $65,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
What You'll Do Manage deadlines to ensure all case-related tasks and court filings are completed promptly. Maintain and coordinate attorney calendars, including scheduling hearings, meetings, and case reviews. You will be responsible for organizing and maintaining accurate filing systems for both electronic and hard-copy documents. Schedule depositions, client meetings, and attorney prep sessions with efficiency and attention to detail. You will complete and manage discovery forms to support the litigation process. Finalize pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents to ensure accuracy and readiness for filing or delivery. Research and assist in the implementation of software programs that enhance firm operations. Track and update case status information using Excel and other tools to ensure clear case oversight. You will coordinate and manage staff meetings focused on case reviews and team alignment.
Qualifications:
What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience as a Legal Secretary in a civil litigation firm (Federal and California court experience preferred). Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management systems. Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and work independently in a dynamic legal environment. A proactive mindset and commitment to our mission and values.
