opening for a Bilingual Legal Secretary / Front Desk Receptionist with exceptional customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced professional environment. The ideal candidate will have an interest in U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law, excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, strong writing abilities, and a desire to work with a successful and collaborative team. This position serves as the first point of contact for our clients and plays a critical role in maintaining outstanding client service and office operations. Job Summary Our high-volume immigration law firm is seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Legal Secretary / Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for clients and visitors while providing administrative and legal support to attorneys and staff. The successful candidate must be comfortable handling multiple priorities, managing a busy front desk, and maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced legal environment. Responsibilities Greet and assist clients, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner. Answer and manage a high volume of incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately. Schedule consultations, appointments, and maintain office calendars. Assist with client intake and collection of required documentation. Draft, prepare, and review correspondence and legal-related documents. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, faxes, and packages. Maintain accurate filing systems and client records. Perform data entry and maintain information within case management systems. Assist attorneys, legal assistants, and management with administrative support. Process payments, invoices, and other clerical duties as assigned. Maintain confidentiality and comply with office policies and procedures. Qualifications Bilingual English and Spanish required (read, write, and speak fluently). Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, or similar role required. Immigration law experience is preferred but not required. Strong customer service and client communication skills. Excellent writing, grammar, and proofreading skills in both English and Spanish. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and related document-creation applications. Strong computer literacy and ability to learn legal software programs. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a high-volume environment. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
