Your approach and attention to detail will ensure smooth case management, precise document preparation, and effective communication within the office and with clients. This position is ideal for candidates eager to leverage their legal administrative experience and grow within a collaborative setting.
Duties include:
Manage and maintain legal case files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Coordinate scheduling for attorneys and paralegals by managing calendars for court dates, client meetings, depositions, and hearings. Prepare for client interviews by organizing relevant documents and assisting with interview logistics to facilitate effective communication. Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette; direct inquiries appropriately while maintaining a welcoming demeanor. Assist with data entry tasks related to legal case management; ensure all records are up-to-date and organized for easy retrieval. Support administrative functions such as filing (both electronic and physical), photocopying, transcription of dictations or notes, and maintaining office supplies inventory. Skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time . Demonstrated experience in legal administrative support including data entry, filing systems (digital and physical), transcription services, and document management systems like MyCase. Superior communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette; capable of liaising effectively with clients, court personnel, vendors, and team members.
