Join a Premier Defense Powerhouse in Jacksonville. We are an elite boutique criminal defense firm led by one of Florida s most recognized and respected legal experts. Our firm is synonymous with aggressive advocacy, national media expertise, and an unwavering commitment to our clients futures. We specialize in high-stakes litigation-ranging from complex federal white-collar cases to intricate DUI defense. Here, you won't be a face in a corporate machine; you will be a vital part of a small, elite team dedicated to "straight-talk" advocacy. We provide a fast-paced, sophisticated workplace where professional excellence and client empathy are the dual pillars of our success. Candidate Profile Criminal defense is not a "walk in the park." We need a professional who can handle the intensity of the legal system while remaining a calm port in the storm for our clients.

The "Time-Management Pro": You have the emotional intelligence to be compassionate with a stressed client, but the assertiveness to wrap up a conversation efficiently to stay on task.
The Multi-Tasker:
You can pivot between a DMV call and a filing deadline without losing sight of either.
Tech Literacy:
You are highly comfortable using Mac/Apple products and the Microsoft Office Suite.
The Proactive Partner:
You don't wait to be told what to do; you see a need and fill it. You are self-sufficient but work seamlessly within a small team.
Professional Agility:
You remain poised under pressure and can handle the sensitive nature of criminal defense work.
Schedule & Requirements Hours:
8:00 AM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. The "5:01 Rule": While we respect your time, the nature of legal work occasionally requires staying past 5:00 PM to finish a filing or assist a client. If you must be in your car at 5:00 PM sharp every day, this is not the role for you. •
Experience:
Previous legal experience is preferred, but the right attitude and cultural fit are paramount. Compensation & Benefits We take care of our team so they can take care of our clients.

$45,000 - $55,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8:30 AM - 5:15

High SchoolResponsibilities Client Liaison:
Act as the primary point of contact; handle intake calls and initial meetings with empathy and professionalism.
Case Management:
Prepare case files, open new filings, and meticulously monitor the firm s main email inbox.
Agency Coordination:
Serve as a liaison with the DMV to request reports and coordinate administrative hearings.
Scheduling & Logistics:
Manage complex calendars for three attorneys, including court dates, depositions, and client meetings.
Financial Support:
Handle accounts receivable duties, including calling clients for payments and processing retainers.
Workflow Maintenance:
Ensure all "non-billable" administrative tasks are completed to keep cases moving forward.
