Job Summary:
Are you a detail-oriented professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the legal field? Spherion Naples is seeking a dedicated Legal Secretary to join a premier law firm specializing in Litigation and Real Estate right here in Naples, Florida. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your organizational expertise to a team that values initiative and independence, helping both the clients and your career get to a better place. You will be a vital part of the legal team, providing essential support to one Attorney and one Paralegal. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing a variety of high-impact tasks, from client communication to case management.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to one Attorney and one Paralegal. Communicate directly with clients to assist with scheduling appointments and preparing for meetings. Arrange Notary Public services for document signings. Transcribe, draft, and proofread correspondence and legal documents. Coordinate with courts to schedule hearings, depositions, and mediations. Enter Attorney billable time into tracking software daily. Assist with the preparation of discovery materials, cases, and trials. Support legal research, docketing, and general case management. Monitor and maintain complex calendars to ensure all deadlines are met. Assist with the monthly billing process. Maintain and organize client and referral contact lists.
Preferred Skills:
A degree in Business Administration. Previous experience specifically within Litigation or Real Estate practice areas. Experience using legal software such as Aderant or Time Expert. An aptitude for quickly learning new internal software products.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and the Florida court e-portal. Knowledge of judicial procedures and the CSC e-recording platform. Strong ethical foundation with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional organization skills with a high level of attention to detail. Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively under pressure. Availability to work overtime when requested.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
