Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Secretary or Paralegal for a one attorney office. The areas of practice are Probate, Trusts, and Guardianship litigation.
Prerequisites:
  • Prior experience as a paralegal or legal secretary in a law office setting that specializes in litigation is highly preferred. Prior experience in the areas of Probate, Trusts, and Guardianship is not required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
  • Experience using document management systems like PCLaw.
  • Proven ability to handle administrative duties including data entry, filing, transcription, proofreading, and maintaining professional phone etiquette.
Responsibilities include:
  • Managing case files and ensuring all records are organized and easily accessible.
  • Coordinate meetings, interviews with clients or witnesses, and maintain effective communication with all parties involved.
  • Support administrative tasks such as filing documents with courts or agencies, managing calendars for court deadlines or client appointments, and handling phone inquiries.
  • Assist in preparing for hearings or negotiations by organizing case materials and ensuring procedural law requirements are met.
  • Time entries using PC Law.

From $20.00 per hour
