Legal Secretary Emison Law Group LLP Vincennes, IN Full-time Job Description Emison Law Group LLP is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to support attorneys and legal assistants in a fast-paced office environment. This role is essential to daily operations and includes managing client intake, maintaining files, scheduling, and coordinating legal procedures. Responsibilities Manage client intake and ensure all required documentation is completed Create and maintain electronic and physical case files Schedule and manage attorney calendars, hearings, and deadlines Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence File documents with courts (electronic and in-person) Communicate with clients professionally (phone, email, in person) Coordinate meetings, depositions, and court appearances Handle administrative correspondence and general office support Qualifications High school diploma required; additional education preferred Prior legal secretary or legal administrative experience preferred Knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism Benefits Competitive compensation $250 monthly health insurance stipend 401(k) retirement plan with 4% employer match Paid time off Professional, team-oriented work environment How to Apply Submit your resume and a brief cover letter to: mattingly@emisonlaw.com
