Job Description

Job Summary Established and growing law firm seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Paralegal and/or Legal Secretary to support attorneys handling personal injury and class action litigation matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to manage a fast-paced litigation practice while maintaining a high level of professionalism and client service.
Responsibilities Include:
Preparing, proofreading, and filing legal documents E-filing pleadings and other documents in state and federal courts Maintaining attorney calendars, court deadlines, hearings, depositions, and appointments Opening new matters and conducting conflict checks Maintaining case files and litigation records Communicating with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and experts Assisting with discovery, medical records, and document management Scheduling depositions, mediations, and hearings Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence
Qualifications:
Prior Paralegal experience preferred Prior legal secretary experience required Personal injury litigation experience preferred Class action experience a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines Professional demeanor and excellent client relations skills
