Exposure to employment law is a plus. This individual will work in partnership with their respective attorneys as well as provide lateral support to our administrative staff. To be considered you must have at least 5+ years of experience in Legal administrative experience. Duties Manage attorney dockets, calendars and files, including complex litigation documents Establish files and maintain records using case management software Compose and prepare correspondence Prepare various legal documents, including pleadings, witness lists, and interrogatories Transcribe dictation Submit court filings and follow up with clerks on dates, appearances, and filed documents Provide occasional telephone coverage Qualifications Understanding of law office procedures, legal terminology, local court rules, and filing procedures, including e-filing Ability to prioritize and manage multiple files and projects simultaneously Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively General understanding of how to use a case management system Excellent writing, grammar and strong proof-reading skills Excellent word processing skills (general knowledge of Excel, with intermediate to advanced level knowledge in Word and Microsoft Outlook) We offer an excellent benefits package including medical, disability, life, 401(K), profit sharing and paid parking.
