Salary $32,000.00 - $34,000.00 Annually Location Hall of Records, Freehold, NJ 07728 Job Type Full-Time Job Number 2026-24 Department Surrogate Division Surrogates_RECS_SECT Opening Date 05/06/2026 Description CLERK 1 - Monmouth County Surrogate The Monmouth County Surrogate Office is looking to fill a full-time Clerk 1 role that will support their Records Section. The candidate will learn and help to maintain records and files, and will be required to learn to utilize electronic and imaging systems used by the office.

HOURS:

Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 35 hours per week.

PAY:

$32,000 to $34,000

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATON:

Legal secretarial experience and/or law office clerking experience, a plus! Please be advised, all Monmouth County positions are on site. There are no provisions for work remotely.
