Salary commensurate with experience About Us We are a boutique two-attorney elder law firm dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized, and high-quality legal services to our clients. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our team in Westfield, New Jersey. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, professional, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain attorney calendars, including scheduling appointments, meetings, court appearances, and deadlines. Coordinate communications with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties. Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner. Prepare, format, proofread, and distribute legal documents, correspondence, and client communications. Maintain and organize case files, records, and legal documents. Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks across multiple matters. Provide administrative and office support to attorneys as needed. Assist with client intake, appointment scheduling, and general office operations. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar legal support role. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines with accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail. Experience working in a law firm environment preferred.
