Temp-to-Hire Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Legal Secretary/Legal Administrative Assistant to join a busy legal office in North Oklahoma City. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively support multiple attorneys, and enjoys handling a variety of legal and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have prior legal office experience, a strong understanding of legal terminology, and the ability to adapt quickly as priorities change. If you're organized, proactive, and enjoy digging into the details to support a legal team, we'd love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities + Provide administrative support to multiple attorneys simultaneously. + Draft, proofread, and prepare legal correspondence and documents. + Conduct legal research and gather supporting information for case files. + Prepare and file court documents electronically and in person, as needed. + Compile and summarize medical records for legal matters. + Review case files, identify missing information, and perform in-depth research to uncover critical details. + Maintain organized case files and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date. + Prioritize multiple assignments while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment. + Assist with additional administrative and legal support duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications + Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal Administrative Assistant, or in a similar legal support role preferred. + Working knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and legal documentation. + Experience with legal research and court filings is a plus. + Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. + Strong written and verbal communication abilities. + Ability to multitask and effectively support multiple attorneys. + Dependable, adaptable, and able to adjust to changing priorities. + Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
